VMware Tools Installation Issue Resolved: The update server could not resolved at VMware Workstation Player

If you are facing similar problems like me during installation of VMware Tools with the error message "The update server could not resolved. Check your Internet settings or contact your system administrator."

As per the Broadcom community reports they might have disabled the SOFTWARE UPDATE CDS auto updater link.

But we can resolve the problem by downloading the VMware tools manually.

Download and install VMware tools
